Prevalence of Generative AI Sexualized Image Interactions by Adolescents

This study, conducted by George Mason University’s Digital Forensics team, explores how U.S. teens (ages 13–17) use AI-powered nudification tools—both consensually and non-consensually—to generate and share sexualized images.

  • 55% used nudification tools on themselves
  • 36% were victims of non-consensual AI image creation
  • 33% were victims of non-consensual AI image distribution
